Hattrick Organizer Loyalty

Since a year and a half I’m a loyal user of Hattrick Organizer to manage my squad and prepare my matches. Since season 36 players have a new propert, the “loyalty”.

Unfortunately Hattrick Tools doesn’t support loyalty yet although the influence of loyalty on the match ratings can be significant.
Fortunately the team behind HO is still very active and is working on a stable version of HO that includes loyalty. In the meantime I switched to the most recent development version which already does support loyalty. And I must say, it works fine

Hattrick Organizer

For years I’ve been using Hattrick Coach Professional to manage my hattrick team. I did try competitors every now and then but it didn’t feel good.

When this season started, Hattrick Organizer was very quick in fixing a change in the Hattrick XML structure. As HCP is not being developed at all, I was forced to try something else. So I tried HO and it worked quite well! The feeling still was not as good as with HCP, but the features breath that they’ve still been improved in the last couple of years while HCP has been standing still for quite some time now.

Open Source

A big advantage of HO is that it’s open source. This means that if the main developer might decide to stop developing then the rest of the world can continue improving the tool. Which indeed we saw with HCP.

Features

All the features you would expect from a Hattrick Manager assistant are available in HO. Managing players, manage your training, find your perfect line up, etc.

Tomattrick

After the recent hattrick changes which basically killed the un-maintained applications like HT Ratings, it’s time to look around for other multi-purpose manager assistant utilities. Tomattrick is a relatively young on in town.

Tomattrick is unlike its direct opponents like HCP Gold, Hattrick Manager and Hattrick Assistant Manager a webbased tool. Tomattrick uses a lot of web 2.0 features to present to you a user-friendly interface. And web applications have the general advantage of being available to you everywhere where you have an internet connection available.

But Tomattrick is more than a fancy web interface. It has dozens of essential features like

Hattrick Ratings aka “Hattrick Rating” aka “Hattrick Ratings Calculcator” aka “HT Ratings Calculator” aka “HTR” can be downloaded here.

The Hattrick Ratings website is unavailable for quite some time now. As a result of this we can’t download our beloved tool. I found version 2.13 on the internet, which actually is version 2.11 + an update to version 2.13. Go ahead and download HT Ratings through the link below.

HT Ratings is a standalone application to optimize your virtual football (soccer) team for the webgame hattrick. More information about HTR can be found here. Please also check the comment by LaHadi in which he describes a workaround regarding the recent changes in the hattrick.org interfaces.

HT Ratings

HT Ratings, aka HTR aka Hattrick Ratings Calculator helps you optimize the line-up of your team. It can calculate (predict) the stars your players will get, it can calculate the ratings your team will get in different line-ups. It can also calculate the ratings your opponent will get.

Because the match depends heavily on these ratings (possession, chances, score or miss), HTR let’s you compare your ratings with your opponents. That way you can see what your chance of winning the match is. Only the chance of course, never a certainty. Still, this lets you make better use of the strong and weak points of your team and those of your opponent!

Hattrick Coach Professional

Hattrick Coach Professional (or HCP gold) ~~used to be~~ is a very good Hattrick Manager tool which once even was for free. Then the developer, Thomas Linde started to ask 7.50 euro for registration.

It was not much, but as the did such a good job I thought it was worth it. Now he is hired by Extralives, the company behind Hattrick. ~~Maybe that’s the reason that the latest update HCP 2.9.74 dates from October 2006! I think he’s misleading his customers for this. Therefore I recommend to use something else.~~ and he still finds time to answer support requests and updates the software when necessary.

Update 11-11-2007: There is an update of HCP available! No new features yet, but an update to be able to work with some of the changes in hattrick. I updated immediatly and it worked right away

Update 19-11-2008: After installing HCP on a new pc I did not manage to get my old registration in place at first. I asked for support by mail and got it the next day. I had not restarted the system before entering the key. Despite testing some competitors HCP gold is still my number 1 Hattrick Manager.

Fabonehattrick is last updated August 28 2005. It therefore is very outdated. Please try to find something else!
